About MacKenzie Knox
Hi, my name is MacKenzie Knox and I am currently seeking positions in anything ranging from social media, talent, public relations, and creative development or production for film and television.
In May 2021, I graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a major in Journalism and minor in Sociology. Within those 4 years, I held a work study job as a desk assistant for Student Activities and ALANA Services. Additionally, I was the Social Media Coordinator for Loyola Scrabble Club, the Public Relations Co-Coordinator for She’s the First (an organization raising awareness and money for girls’ education in low-income areas), a Senior Assembly Member for the Student Government Association, and a writer for the school newspaper The Greyhound in the Arts and Society section.
Since graduating, I have interned at 1:11 Agency as a creative services intern focusing on the public relations aspect and was a freelance script reader for BlueCat Screenplay Competition.
Upon completing my internship, I worked at The Foundry at Dotdash Meredith. After 6 months as the Content Coordinator of Fashion and Beauty, I then moved on to hold the title of Production Coordinator. While I mainly worked with Beauty & Style, I also provided cross-category support for all Content Operation leads.
Currently, I’m a Public Relations Assistant at Havas Formula specifically providing support to the Consumer Technology team.
